Career

Nasreen Shah is a qualified barrister in England and Wales [2018], practising at Great James Street Chambers and in the Republic of Ireland [2022].
She joined the Luxembourg Bar in 2023. She specialises in criminal matters, in particular financial crime, including money laundering offences. Her cross-jurisdictional expertise enables her to handle complex cases.

Nasreen Shah is the founder and director of Her Bar Ltd, a company dedicated to promoting and supporting women at the Bar in England and Wales.
​
Before starting her career at the Bar, Nasreen Shah was a legal adviser for a non-governmental organisation and worked as a judicial assistant to Judge Turkovic at the European Court of Human Rights.
