Following a Union Internationale des Avocats (International Union of Lawyers) Conference on Artificial Intelligence and the Legal profession, which took place in Novi Sad, Serbia, on 18-21 September 2024, the University of Law of Novi Sad presented a brand new Bachelor degree combining Law and digital technologies, a unique initiative which was unanimously saluted by the participants.
At the same Governing Board of the UIA, François Moyse, in his capacity as Director of Rule of Law of the UIA-IROL (Institute of the Rule of Law) presented the latest developments relating to the drafting of the Convention for the protection of the profession of lawyer, which is in the final stages , to be followed by the adoption and signature , possibly under the Luxembourg presidency of the Council of Europe.
